Defending individual rights
|
Defending the rights of individuals and professionals APJ was founded in 1986 by GMF Group so that members could be more aware of their rights and defend them. France's second-largest insurance company offers individuals the guarantees and services they need to cover the most common disputes. It also provides collective agreements for the professional legal defence of local authorities and public institutions.
Activity and results
In 2011, the APJ teams were involved in implementing digital document management (DDM). MAAF and GMF policyholders benefited from 226,000 legal consultations by telephone, while 45,000 legal claims were opened. APJ has over one million personal insurance in its portfolio. To these are added many collective contracts, particularly for non-profits, professional federations and government authorities. In total, 3.8 million people are covered by some form of APJ guarantees.
